Some of the Trusted Singles Member Support staff might be in the Chat Room. The Support Staff will be indicated by this image/avatar ( )next to them. You should provide your password and other information requested by our staff.

You can provide your contact or other information to other Trusted Singles members at your own discretion.

What is an avatar? How do I use it?

An avatar is an icon or image displayed next to your username in the chat room. To select or change your avatar, please click on the ( ) image in the chat room and pick an avatar from the panel displayed.

What is the difference between private and public chat?

A Public Chat is what you type in the User Room. All the other members who are in that room can read your message posted in the room.

You can also chat with a particular members privately. Such messages are only read by the specific member.

How can I begin a Private Chat?


You can only chat privately with a member if he or she is logged to the chat room.

To begin a private chat, locate the username of the member in the right panel where all the logged in members are displayed. Click on the member's username and a message "Private Chat" should show up with the image ( ) next to it. Click on that message to open a new private chat window.

My chat page reports an illegal operation, and the browser closes automatically. How can I fix this?

You should disable an popup blocking software or tools you might have installed, such as Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar etc.

Your private chat opens in a new popup window and the Trusted Singles site should be allowed to show these popup windows for you to use the Private Chat feature.

How can I insert smiley and imoticons in my messages?

In your chat room or your private chat popup window find and click on the image ( ) and it will show a panel with all the smileys available. Click on any smiley and it will be inserted in the message you send.
